About

My name is Larry Warbasse, I am an 18 year old kid who hails from Traverse City, MI.  For the past few years I have been on a whirlwind journey—through Michigan, the nation, and the world.  I am a cyclist on the U.S. Junior National Cycling Team, and have traveled to races all across the globe.  I train every day, race almost every weekend, and because of this I am constantly on the road, going from place to place, this race to that race.  Throughout my travels I have had some crazy experiences, and numerous stories to tell about the places I’ve gone, people I’ve met, and things I have seen.  For the past two summers I have spent three weeks living in Belgium at the National Team house in Izegem, a small town in West Flanders, and racing all across Europe.  I have set many goals and had many dreams for myself, some came easily, some more difficult, and yet others I came so close to realizing and didn’t quite accomplish them.  I live an interesting life, and this blog is not only to document my stories on along the way, but to share the experience and lessons I have learned being independent at such a young age.
